thrown away in terror

That sounds fine, wind through the window and
breaths pick up in pace when a realization
comes as quick as the breeze through the same window.

In the trash are mistakes too longed
for and in one flash and walk outside,
endless fits of the mind unwind.
Walking back, a spruce stands tall and straight.

story

He walked in and turned left.
Two women sat facing him and both were eager to assist and discard him;
but not just him,
anyone quickly enough for the continuance of petty gossip,
listless internet waves and unenthusiastic hellos and guhbyes.

Spring

A winter of rush dusted away;
the sun is higher and higher
and higher in the sky, everyday.

A different kind of music to my ears.
You too are different, and together,
in a cloudless garden -
we sit and grow.

A bleeding heart before me, but with you,
it is in the ground, buried
and unimaginable this time around.
For reverie is everywhere,
when I see you smile.
