recognize what is going on in our own mind.
it seems natural to blame the outside world.
suffering or happiness.
the cause = within our mind.
take responsibility for changing our mind.
thus increasing happiness, and decreasing suffering.
i.e. better designed house, prefering different foods.
you think expectations have a lot to do with it?
ReplyDeletei think 'change' and dealing with it have a lot to do with happiness.
well when we expect things, we somewhat are trying to predict the future... the best way to predict the future is to take steps in the present moment and the moments that follow.
