felt the urge to make the title of this new post through the language of yoda- what a gnarly character/role in a movie btw. Some people may not like star wars, but regardless, yoda was the shit. him talking the way he did added to his awesomeness. yes. but i digress.
I just realized how mindful it is to write my thoughts. to spend a few minutes each day, and stop and collect. maybe i will write more often, maybe i won't. i am quite busy or busier now that my 2nd semester at MSU is a month into classes. i feel that my african social studies class is ran to perfection. when a class is run by a certain type of teacher; with a clear and concise syllabus, a day by day, flexible curriculum that has been practiced and proven, a teacher can best serve a student. i'd also add how important it is for students and teachers to communicate, and not just through the email. are office hours convenient enough? maybe they are? it may not be possible i know, but i'd like to think a teacher could come into classten minutes early to field questions and just be there, as well as staying ten minutes after.
and of course, you gotta know what you're talking about.
so many parts of a good teacher... a well rounded person, you may call them.
